Curiosities
He starred in one of the most famous (and controversial) goals in Benfica's history. On April 18, 1990, in an Estádio da Luz with about 120,000 people, he scored with his hand the goal that eliminated Marseille in the semi-final of the European Cup and took Benfica to the final. To this day, the Angolan swears that he scored with his shoulder.
